Foam FAQ’s
Learn More About The Foam You’ll Choose!
DRY FAST FOAM
Fast-drying foam was created primarily for outdoor use in residential and marine applications. Fast-dry foam, unlike traditional foam, drains quickly, allowing the cushions to dry quickly even after being drenched while also preventing them from mould formation. Foam has a typical life of 5-8 years. ( foam is a 1.8 lb/ft3 density with a 60lb ILD)
Another benefit of having rapid dry foam cushions is that they can stay cleaner for longer than traditional foam cushions.
Traditional foam’s structure traps dirt, dust, and irritants, making it very impossible to remove them.
When dirt appears on quick-dry cushions, a short hose down will readily remove it.
The cushions should then be dried in a well-ventilated environment.

LUXURY-DENSITY FOAM
Extremely firm foam depending on thickness. Suggested for dining room seats from 1″ to 3″ in thickness. This foam has a typical lifespan of 16 years. ( foam has 2.8 lb/ft3 density with a 50lb ILD)
HIGH-DENSITY FOAM
The bottom layer of most memory foam mattresses is made up of high-density foam, which is an extremely stiff foam. High-density foam may also be used to support the spring systems in other types of mattresses, such as innerspring or hybrid. Typical lifespan of 7 years (foam is a 1.8 lb/ft3 density with a 35lb ILD)
Because high-density foams are too rigid to be used across the mattress, they are rarely employed. As a result, they are commonly utilised as a bed foundation or to give edge support.
High-density foam is a polyurethane blend that tends to off-gas. If you have a history of lung problems, conduct more research on the quality of foams before purchasing.

FIBER FILLING
Cushions made entirely of fibre provide one of the most comfortable tailored cushions available; they provide a sense of ease, which can be wonderful after a long day at work, school, or doing errands. Fiber filled backs and scatter cushions hug your form in a way that foam and fibre combinations don’t, creating a comfortable seat you won’t want to leave.
What makes fillings so cozy?
Our fiber-filled cushions are made by blowing hollow-fill polyester fibres into bespoke cushions or pillows. Air pockets occur between the fibres when the back cushion is blown, giving it a plump and inviting appearance. As you sit back and relax on your Custom Cushions, the fibres compact together and the air between the fibres is forced out, causing the back cushion to mould to your shape.
